Pedro Aida graduated from The Conservatory of Recording Arts & Sciences in Tempe, AZ 2000 and went to intern with producer Brian McTernan (Hot Water Music, Strike Anywhere, Coheed & Cambria, Thrice) at Salad Days in Baltimore, MD. After relocating to Richmond, VA in 2002, Pedro began engineering at world famous Sound of Music where he worked alongside producer/engineers John Morand (Black Crowes, Cracker, Hanson, Sixer, Joan Osborne), Alan Weatherhead (David Lowery, Lamb of God, Carbon Leaf) and Brian Paulson ( Wilco, Tift Merritt, Squirrel Nut Zippers, Avail, The Comas).

In 2004 Pedro spent most of the year working professionally as a touring musician as lead guitarist for Richmond pop rock band River City High (Doghouse/MCA Records). During his time with River City High he circled the country and performed live on MTV from their Times Square Studios.

Afterwards, Pedro acquired some gear and started his own studio, “Detached Sound”, that operated out of a converted detached garage from 06′-13′ in the Southside of Richmond. Here he honed his production and engineering skills working not only with local but national and international recording artists including Billy the Kid, the Blacklist Royals, Ann Beretta, Long Arms, and many more.

In early 2014 construction of a new facility was completed and Audio Vérité opened it’s doors in the Lakeside neighborhood of Richmond’s Northside.
